I'm MJ Shannon and I'm Ready to Lead

I have the experience, the connections, and the care to best lead our district. As a Clerk with the State Senate, I have gained considerable experience in the legislative process and how to best move proposals forward. I have relationships with those in Hartford, on both sides, and plan on leveraging those relationships to help our district prosper. We need someone in office who understands the issues facing us today, and someone who is ready to lead us into the future. ​As an organizer and advocate, I've worked with a diverse group of people in order to build coalitions of support for various causes. I know how to work with Democrats, Republicans, and everything in between to get things done. My focus is on delivering results for everyone in our district, and lifting us up and forward without looking back. We can't afford to look back at such a critical time in our history. I am ready to lead the 117th District to a brighter future, and I am committed to working tirelessly for all.
